Conveyors

Conveying designed for food and pharma production: hygienic and CIP-ready, gravity, inline transfer and pallet handling.
Conveyors

Conveying designed around the cleaning regime, not just the product.

We design and fabricate conveyor systems in Kilkenny for pharmaceutical, food, beverage and dairy production – from single transfer units to complete end-of-line handling.

Hygiene drives the detailing: open frames that drain, crevice-free welds, tool-less strip-down and a traceable materials dossier handed over with the line.

  • Conveyor systems and materials handling
  • Hygienic, CIP-ready and food-grade builds
  • Gravity, powered and pallet handling
  • Full material traceability and weld logs

The conveyor ranges we build.

Specified against the product, the wash-down regime and the space you have - then built to suit rather than adapted from a catalogue.

Hygienic CIP-ready

Clean-in-place conveying with integrated spray bars and self-draining frames - no dismantling to clean.

  • Validated seven-minute CIP cycle
  • Crevice-free welds, food-safe contact surfaces

Food-grade wash-down

Sanitary belt conveyors and poultry wash-down systems for Ireland’s toughest food-processing environments.

  • IP69K components
  • Tool-less belt release

Gravity roller & skatewheel

Non-powered conveying that uses the load itself - no motor, no energy draw, minimal maintenance.

  • Rollers for heavier, flat-based loads
  • Skatewheel for cartons and totes

Inline transfer

Transfers product from one conveyor to the next with no risk of drop, delay or stoppage at the hand-off.

  • Slave driven - no extra motor or gearbox
  • Retrofits to all conveyor types

Pallet conveyors & palletising

Heavy-duty handling for Euro pallets, IBCs and custom crates, with reinforced frames and high-torque drives.

  • 90-degree transfers, merge and divert
  • Inspection and wrapping stations

Spares & upgrades

Belts, drives, bearings and control components held against your installed base, whoever built the line.

  • Obsolescence planning
  • Efficiency upgrades

Designed for critical environments.

Open-frame geometry and HEPA-compatible motor enclosures cut micro counts and keep lines inside HACCP limits - and the auditor gets the paperwork to prove it.

  • No-touch cleaningIntegrated spray bars and self-draining frames deliver a validated CIP cycle with no dismantling.
  • Tool-less belt releaseBelt release and tensioning without tools, so strip-down and inspection take minutes.
  • No product traps30 and 60 degree chamfered edges, crevice-free welds and no flat surfaces to hold residue.
  • Food-safe beltingFDA-approved blue PU, PVC or modular plastic, with ISO 22196 anti-microbial options.
  • Wash-down drivesIP69K gear motors and controls with variable-speed drives for indexing and portion control.
  • Sterility optionsUV-C tunnel available where sterility assurance has to be demonstrated, not assumed.

End of line

Pallet handling that takes the manual step out of end of line.

Pallets carry heavy, awkward loads and standard conveying is not built for them. Ours use reinforced frames, high-torque motors and custom transfer zones, in an open-frame hygienic design that still cleans down.

They integrate with warehouse management systems, robotics and PLC control, so the line knows where every pallet is.

  • Straight-line movement and 90-degree transfers
  • Merging and diverting lines
  • Automated inspection and wrapping stations
  • Real-time tracking and sensor stop/start logic

Lines we build for.

Poultry & red meat

Side-flexing and radius conveyors for debone lines, with foam injectors for on-line cleaning.

Seafood & chilled

Aggressive detergent and high-pressure wash-down duty on continuous chilled production.

Bakery & prepared foods

Indexing and portion control through assembly, with allergen-driven cleaning between runs.

Pharma & life sciences

Cleanroom-compatible handling from vial filling through to packing, documented for validation.

How a conveyor project runs.

  1. 01

    Line survey & flow analysis

Throughput, product handling and the cleaning window you have to work inside.

  2. 02

    3D design

Layout modelled and reviewed with production and hygiene before fabrication begins.

  3. 03

    Fabrication & FAT

Built and dry-assembled in Kilkenny, factory tested, with certs and weld logs compiled as it goes.

  4. 04

    Install & validate

Installed around your shutdown, commissioned, IQ/OQ supported and handed over with training.

Conveyors - common questions.

How long does a CIP cycle take?

Our hygienic conveyors are designed around a validated seven-minute clean-in-place cycle with no dismantling, using integrated spray bars and self-draining frames.

What belting options do you supply?

FDA-approved blue PU, PVC, modular plastic and wire mesh, with ISO 22196 tested anti-microbial options and side-flexing belts for debone lines.

Gravity or powered - which do we need?

Gravity roller or skatewheel suits transfer and accumulation where the load can do the work, with no motor and almost no maintenance. Powered conveying is for controlled speed, indexing and integration with robotics.

Can you retrofit into an existing line?

Yes. The inline transfer unit is slave driven and fits all conveyor types without an additional motor or gearbox, and we regularly extend or re-sequence lines built by other suppliers.

What documentation comes with the line?

A traceable materials dossier, weld logs, validation pack and FAT records, aligned to GMP, EHEDG and the FSAI and BRCGS requirements your auditor works from.

Send us the line drawing.

We will come back with a concept layout, indicative throughput and a fabrication lead time.
