Client Challenge:
Our client faced a significant noise pollution issue with their Niro Dryer chimney outlet, where noise levels reached a disruptive 120 decibels. Their goal was to reduce this to a much quieter 80 decibels, ensuring compliance with regulations and improving the surrounding environment.

The Noreside Solution:
Noreside Engineering was tasked with designing and installing a custom attenuation system that would fit seamlessly over the existing chimney outlet. To achieve this, our team collaborated with an acoustic specialist to create a solution tailored to the client’s specific requirements.

Steps Taken:

1. Collaborative Design Process:

   • Produced detailed 3D drawings alongside a comprehensive report explaining how the system would meet performance goals.

2. Structural Integrity:
   • Supplied structural drawings to ensure the new system could be securely supported by the existing building structure.

   • Designed, manufactured, and installed the turnkey attenuation system, ensuring minimal disruption during implementation.

Results:
The new system successfully reduced noise levels from 120 decibels to 80 decibels, meeting all client requirements and demonstrating Noreside’s expertise in delivering innovative engineering solutions.
